The voluntary sector is facing major change. The ongoing financial squeeze will see most grant-aided community organisations facing continuing cuts in revenue funding. Local Authorities are looking to what are now termed civil society organisations to deliver the services that Councils have done for years – but for a considerably lower cost. This is both an opportunity and a threat for our sector. . .

Following the huge success over the last few years, Guildhall Winchester is pleased to announce for the third year running Winchester Charity Festive Market & Making Merry...
A group of local business people (and one dog) plan take the idea of a ‘sponsored walk for charity’ to a new level next month when they attempt to walk 34 miles from Farnham to Winchester in a single day, from sunrise to sunset, on Saturday September 10th.
