RASAC
The Rape and Sexual Abuse Counselling Service (RASAC) provides free, confidential helplines and one-to-one counselling for women and men who have been sexually abused and/or raped, at any time in their lives.
The service is also for partners, relatives and friends and anyone who wants to talk about the effects of any unwanted sexual encounter, including sexual assault and harassment.
We offer individual counselling by appointment, and telephone helplines are open two times a week. The counsellors operating the service are specially trained to understand the issues around sexual abuse and rape, and have on-going training and supervision.
The service is based in Winchester city but takes calls from all over Hampshire and the rest of the country.

Contact April on 01962 710221 or 07825812749
Email: april.isvarasac@waca.org.uk
The ISVA role was commissioned by the Home Office Violent Crime Unit in 2005. An ISVA offers practical and emotional support to survivors of sexual violence, regardless of whether they have decided to report to the police or not.
The ISVA is an independent, non-judgmental and confidential service, working closely with relevant agencies to ensure you get the advice, information and support that you need. ISVA support can take the format of either face to face visits, telephone contact or both, depending on what you feel comfortable with.
The ISVA can let you know about your options, help you access relevant support services and will support you through the legal process if appropriate.
The ISVA service is not a counselling service, however if you would like to access a counselling service then the ISVA can suggest where you can find specialist support.
The Hampshire ISVA service can be contacted, Monday – Friday between 8am and 4pm. There is an answer phone available at all other times, please leave a message and we will call you back.
