WCC Active Communities Change Plan Survey


Winchester City Active Communities Change Plan is your chance to shape future services

Do you want to make a difference in your local area? Are you happy, healthy, and do you feel safe? To help us find out complete the Winchester City Council’s Active Communities Change Plan online survey. The topics being covered are:

Crime and Anti Social Behaviour (ASB)
Health and Well Being
Winchester Celebrations for London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games
The Council is seeking your views on a number of services that affect local people. The results from the survey will help to identify community priorities, shape how resources are going to be used and contribute to the annual crime and disorder review. Those who live and work in the district are being asked to participate in the survey by sharing their views and experiences.

Youth Support Services Consultation

The County Council has launched a public consultation on proposed changes to Youth Support Services in Hampshire. The consultation will be open for three months (until 6 July 2011). Information on the proposals and details of how to respond to the consultation can be found on the following Hantsweb page:

The website also contains information targeted at young people. If you are working in a setting with young people (i.e. school, college, youth venue/project) please can you publicise this information to them through your communication channels and encourage them to respond. A commissioning process for Winchester:

The consultation workshop: 'Opportunities - a commissioning process for Winchester' was held at The Winchester Guildhall on the 28th of February 2011. It was chance to find out about and influence the new commissioning process set to replace annual grant funding.

Thanks to all that came. Here is a summary of all the questions and answers raised on the night.

Winchester City Council’s Cabinet will be considering the commissioning process at their 13 April 2011 meeting. You will be able to see the Cabinet report on the following link after 1 April 2011:
