Mayoralty and Winchester Area Community Action (WACA) are once again joining forces to recognise organisations and individuals who have given outstanding service to our community. The aim of these awards is to celebrate the selfless activity that goes on in just about every part of our society and makes the District a truly wonderful place in which to live.

Community Learning Forum
Working to identify the lifelong learning priorities of the local community. The Forum also provides the ‘voice of the learner’ perspective to the Winchester District Strategic Partnership by acting as its learning ‘arm’.

Health and Wellbeing Partnership
Leading voluntary sector involvement in the review of health partnership working following Primary Care Trust reorganisation. The Winchester district now falls within the Hampshire Primary Care Trust West Area.

Social Inclusion Partnership
This group brings together people from statutory and voluntary agencies working in the Winchester district with a focus on developing an inclusive society in which every resident, especially the young and the elderly, the vulnerable and the marginalized, has a sense of belonging.
