WACA invites you to our Dementia Awareness Day on Wednesday 14 January 2026, at the Holywell Community Centre in Watford.

With this day we hope to increase awareness, understanding and support around dementia within the African Caribbean community across Hertfordshire.

We will have an engaging discussion with a panel of experts and specialists, including the opportunity for an invaluable Q&A and to hear from those with first hand lived experiences.

We will also have a uplifting gentle exercise session, as well as interactive workshops focused on brain activities and healthy eating.

There will also be opportunities to engage with a wealth of different support services and organisations that can offer valuable insight into this area.

A delicious Caribbean lunch will also be provided on the day. If you have any dietary requirements, please let us know in advance on hello@waca.org.uk.
