On Monday 12th October 2026 between 6.30pm and 8.00pm, we are inviting you to an audience with Dr Marcelle Moncrieffe-Newman who will be speaking about her book, One Step Forward, Two Steps Black: Navigating Anti-Black Workplace Culture, exploring the realities of how Black people experience workplace culture and the particular barriers, pressures and inequities they can encounter. In the context of today’s workplace climate, she will offer practical insight and empowering tools to help individuals navigate their careers with confidence, protect their wellbeing, build influence and progress on their own terms.
Dr Moncrieffe-Newnam is the Chief People Officer at City St George’s, University of London.
